Together with our current IT colleague, you make sure IT Operations runs smoothly and continues to professionalise. You help out with technical issues when needed, but your main focus lies on projects, structural improvements and making our IT environment future-proof.

About Flikweert Vision

Flikweert Vision develops smart optical sorting technology for potatoes and onions. Using AI, camera technology and intelligent software, we automate the sorting process. We are growing internationally, which also requires internal systems and processes that scale along with us in a secure and reliable way.

Your role

As Senior IT Operations Engineer, you look beyond today’s question. You identify risks, bottlenecks and opportunities yourself, translate them into concrete improvements or projects, and make sure they get implemented.

You work broadly within IT Operations: from infrastructure, cloud and workplaces to security, identity & access, monitoring and business continuity. In doing so, you work closely with your direct IT colleague, other technical teams and external specialists.

Key tasks and responsibilities

Initiating and executing projects relating to infrastructure, networks, workspaces, security and continuity.

· Improving and renewing our network, server, cloud and workspace environments.

Further professionalisation of cybersecurity, monitoring, backup and recovery.

Managing and optimising the Microsoft environment, identity & access and endpoints.

Standardising and automating recurring management tasks.

·         Organising lifecycle management of laptops, network equipment and other IT assets.

Improving onboarding, offboarding and technical rights management.

Coordinating external IT partners and ensuring proper documentation and knowledge retention.

Together with your IT colleague, analysing and resolving incidents and user queries when necessary.

We are looking for an experienced IT professional who works independently, takes responsibility and enjoys making things better. You have a broad technical foundation and do not need to be the specialist in every area. What we value is precisely the ability to oversee the entire IT environment, connect the dots and determine where specialist knowledge is required.

You are practical, keep the overview, and make sure that solutions not only work today but remain manageable as Flikweert Vision continues to grow.

What you bring

· Several years of experience within system administration, infrastructure, IT operations or a similar role.

Experience in independently executing or leading technical IT projects.

·         Broad knowledge of, amongst other things, Microsoft 365, cloud, networking, endpoints, servers, security, monitoring and backup.

· Strong analytical skills and a structured way of working.

The ability to manage external IT specialists on a substantive level.

· Good communication skills towards both technical and non-technical colleagues.

A hands-on mentality: when necessary, you roll up your sleeves yourself.
