As an Electrical Engineer at Flikweert Vision, you’ll translate new machine concepts into safe, reliable and practical electrical engineering solutions. From concept development and EPLAN schematics through to assembly, testing and commissioning, you’ll ensure the quality and consistency of our electrical systems.

Flikweert Vision develops advanced optical sorting machines for potatoes and onions. Our machines combine electrical engineering, vision technology, software, AI, and mechanical engineering to make optical sorting easier, faster, and more efficient. From our headquarters in Zeeland, our young, ambitious team works on innovative solutions for the international agri-food sector.

Who are we looking for?
We are looking for an experienced engineer who combines in-depth electrical engineering knowledge with a practical, project-based approach. You will independently make technical decisions, work closely with our colleagues in Mechanical Engineering, Software, PLC and Production, and actively identify opportunities to improve standards, documentation and engineering processes.

What are you bringing?

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Automation or a related discipline.
• Several years' experience as an electrical engineer, preferably in machine building.
• Extensive experience with EPLAN (or similar software) and thorough knowledge of control panels, cabling, sensors, actuators, and industrial components.
• Experience in concept development, project engineering, machine safety, testing and optimisation.
• An independent, accurate and solution-oriented approach, with the ability to share knowledge and support colleagues
