Service Coordinator

About the job

About the job

Our machines operate at customers in the UK and abroad. You ensure that our service engineers take action at the right time, well-prepared and with the right equipment.

As a Service Coordinator, you are the director behind our service. You bring calm to a dynamic schedule, keep customers and colleagues engaged, and think ahead so that installations, maintenance, and service work run smoothly. Does the day change? Then you adapt accordingly without losing the overview.

About Flikweert Vision

We develop and build optical sorting machines for the agri-food sector. Using vision and AI technology, our machines assess and sort potatoes and onions quickly and accurately. Mechanics, electronics, software and artificial intelligence come together under one roof with us. Our machines can be found at customers' premises all over the world. To support them properly, we have a service team that works in a committed, hands-on and solution-oriented way. It is for good reason that we call the colleagues in our service department our service warriors.

What will you do?

· You make the schedule for our service engineers and set the right priorities.

· You coordinate machine installations and maintenance from preparation to completion. For larger projects, you also take on project management and work preparation, ensuring that the schedule, personnel, materials and mutual coordination are properly aligned.

· You ensure that technicians set off with the correct information, materials and resources.

· When an installation or sorting line is not running optimally straight away, you think along technically with the fitters. You translate their findings and possible adjustments into a clear direction for a solution that Engineering can work with.

· You monitor progress, keep stakeholders informed, and adjust where necessary.

You are an important point of contact for customers, suppliers and colleagues from Production, Engineering and Software, among others.

You adapt quickly to faults, changes or unexpected service requests, and keep a cool head even then.

You are right in the middle of the action and are given plenty of scope to make independent choices. At the same time, you are not on your own: together with the service team and our technical departments, you ensure the customer can move forward.

Who are we looking for?

You get energy from a schedule that works. You quickly see what has priority, communicate clearly and stay calm when multiple matters demand attention at the same time. Thanks to your technical insight, you understand what is going on with a customer or machine and know who or what is needed to solve it.

You also bring:

· A completed technical qualification at a minimum of MBO-4 level or relevant work experience in a similar role.

· Experience in planning, coordinating and prioritising.

· A structured approach and the ability to think ahead.

Technical understanding and interest in mechanical engineering.

· Experience with an ERP system; experience with Ridder iQ or SuperOffice is an advantage.

· Good communication skills in Dutch and English.

Are you currently working as a service engineer, work preparator or technical planner, for instance, and are you ready for your next step? If so, we would also love to meet you. Not every box needs to be ticked already; technical insight, organisational talent and the willingness to learn are, in our view, at least as important.

What do we offer?

· A key role within an enthusiastic and dedicated service team.

· A salary of between €3,300 and €4,500 gross per month based on 38 hours, depending on your knowledge and experience.

· 25 days of annual leave and 13 RDOs based on a full-time employment contract.

· A travel allowance of €0.25 per kilometre and a good pension scheme via PMT.

· Lots of responsibility, autonomy and scope to develop yourself further.

· A growing technical organisation with flat hierarchies, engaged colleagues and a practical mentality.

Shall we meet?

Are you the organiser who keeps our service warriors moving and helps customers worldwide? Send your CV and cover letter to recruitment@flikweertvision.nl.
