At Flikweert Vision you build our optical sorting machines from single part to finished product. You work independently, solve technical challenges and see at the end of the day what you’ve made.

About Flikweert Vision

We develop and build optical sorting machines for the agri-food sector. Our machines use vision and AI technology to assess and sort potatoes and onions quickly and accurately. Mechanics, electronics, software and artificial intelligence all come together under one roof. Our engineers are based close to the workshop and lines of communication are short. What will you do?

· You check materials and the assembly sequence;

· Assembles mechanical and electronic components based on drawings and instructions;

·         Test modules and complete machines;

You think along about how we can build smarter, better and more efficiently.

· You share your expertise and help less experienced colleagues get started.

You’ll have the responsibility to work independently, but you’re never on your own. We build our machines as a team and simply walk over to each other whenever something doesn’t add up.

Who are we looking for?

You’ve worked as an assembly technician for several years and know what it takes to build a machine properly. When you run into a problem, you investigate what’s going on and come up with a practical solution.

You also bring:

· At least five years' work experience in assembly, fitting or mechanical engineering;

* Technical insight, take responsibility and gladly share your knowledge;

·         The ability to read technical drawings and assembly instructions;

Experience in working independently with hand tools and power tools.

Not every box needs to be ticked already. A solid technical foundation, relevant hands-on experience and the drive to keep learning matter just as much to us.

What do we offer?

· A salary between €2,900 and €4,000 gross per month based on 38 hours, depending on your knowledge and experience.

· 25 days of annual leave and 13 RDOs based on a full-time employment contract.

· A travel allowance of €0.25 per kilometre and a good pension scheme via PMT.
