Wim den Boer, Service
Wim den Boer (27) lives in Middelburg and recently became a father of his second daughter. A busy and dynamic life, in which he always enjoys being busy. In his spare time, he likes to throw himself into a game of football or a new job project.
Leap of faith
Two and a half years ago, Wim was not quite in his place at his previous employer. The challenge was gone, motivation waned and it was time for something new. By chance, he bumped into Flikweert Vision. Intrigued by the possibilities, he decided to spend a day with them. It turned out to be the first step in an exciting new adventure.
From doubter to pioneer in the service department
At first, there were doubts. Was this the right choice? But it soon became clear that the innovative solutions and software appealed to him. He started testing the machines before delivery to the customer and assisted during installation to commission the machines on site. As there was no service department yet, these tasks fell to Wim. Since April last year, he has focused entirely on setting up the service support department. Quite a responsibility, but exactly the challenge he was looking for.
“I get excited by customers' technical questions and working with my service colleagues, both in the office and on site.
A dynamic workplace
With a Mechatronics degree from Avans in Breda and the necessary work experience, Wim was already familiar with the sector. At Flikweert Vision, he found what he finds important in a workplace: daily challenges, a friendly and varied team and a place where communication between departments is essential.
The best challenge: professionalisation
As one of the first colleagues, Wim witnessed the company's growth at close quarters. He believes the professionalisation with a clear mission and vision is one of the most beautiful revolutions within Flikweert Vision.
His motto?
“I get excited by customers“ technical questions and working with my service colleagues, both in the office and on site. " Our service team consists of five colleagues: three mechanics on the road and two in the office. Good communication is crucial to working together smoothly. Regular meetings and updates keep everyone involved and well-informed about the latest developments.
